We’re looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our growing team!

To support our recent growth in the Doha region, we need a highly organised and experienced Account Manager to join our team.

This role covers client relationship management, strategy, project management, social media, and e-commerce strategy as well as website and digital marketing projects.

We are looking for someone who can develop new contacts and sustain our current clients as their point of contact. You must have experience in creating marketing strategies, digital activation plans (including Social Media) and managing client campaigns from a planning, timeline and budget perspective.

Our ideal candidate will be very self-motivated and confident in approaching new challenges. They will be comfortable working on their own but also very organised and capable of relaying clear instructions back to the team in Ireland. They will be comfortable networking with high net worth individuals, but also able to collate social media content when needed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading key client relationships from a strategic and client management point of view
  • Business development in the region
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for an assigned group of top tier client accounts with responsibility for retention and growth.
  • Adding value to all client accounts by bringing new ideas, innovative solutions and fresh thinking to all campaigns
  • Prepare and deliver effective client presentations to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation up to C-Suite.
  • Provide input on new account management processes and workflows as needed.
  • Focus on ensuring we maintain superior customer service levels, operational excellence and strategic industry insights at all times.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years experience Account Management at the agency level or similar
  • Dynamic personality able to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences at all levels of a business
  • Confident communication (written and oral) skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels of internal and external organisations
  • A focus on relationships, able to gain trust through communication, expectation setting and completion of planned deliverables
  • Business acumen, sound decision making, analytical and organisational skills; operate a consultative approach to managing complex client relationships
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to prioritise multiple responsibilities, balancing client deliverables on multiple projects as well as internal obligations
  • Passion about customer delivery – always thinking of ways to improve/grow assigned client
  • Knowledge of the Doha region
  • Working knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage

The Person:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing and/or business management or equivalent work experience
  • Working knowledge and experience with contracts and contract negotiations
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and remain motivated
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft office suite of services
