Senior Account Manager

We’re looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our growing team!

To support our recent growth and varied client projects, we need a highly organised and experienced Account Manager to join our team. This role covers client relationship management, branding, strategy,  project management, social media and ecommerce strategy and website and digital marketing projects. Our business is fast paced, exciting and dynamic and we are looking for a flexible dynamic individual, who thrives in a busy environment.

We are looking for someone with agency experience. You must have experience in creating marketing strategies, digital activation plans (including Social Media) and managing client campaigns from a planning, timeline and budget perspective.  You must also have experience in managing staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading key client relationships from a strategic and client management point of view
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for an assigned group of top tier client accounts with responsibility for retention and growth
  • Adding value to all client accounts by bringing new ideas, innovative solutions and fresh thinking to all campaigns
  • Managing a team of Client Service Account Executives
  • Training and mentoring team members
  • Prepare and deliver effective client presentations to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation up to C-Suite.
  • Provide input on new account management processes and workflows as needed
  • Focus on ensuring we maintain superior customer service levels, operational excellence and strategic industry  insights at all times.


  • 6+ years experience Account Management at agency level
  • Dynamic personality able to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences at all levels of a business
  • Significant team management experience
  • Confident communication (written and oral) skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels of internal and external organisations
  • A focus on relationships, able to gain trust through communication, expectation setting and completion of planned deliverables
  • Business acumen, sound decision making, analytical and organisational skills in a fast paced environment; operate a consultative approach to managing complex client relationships
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to prioritise multiple responsibilities, balancing client deliverables on multiple projects as well as internal obligations
  • Passion about customer delivery – always thinking of ways to improve/grow assigned client

The Person:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing and/or business management or equivalent work experience
  • Strong analytical skills with in depth knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Working knowledge and experience with contracts and contract negotiations
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and remain motivated
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft office suite of services
