Carzone, CarsIreland and Cartell, part of the Mediahuis group, are three of Ireland’s most trusted motoring platforms, providing innovative and progressive technology solutions to buy and sell new and used cars in Ireland.
We were tasked with creating an overarching brand to house Ireland’s largest motoring marketplace that represents their customer-centric approach, passion, commitment to innovation and forward thinking to the Irish motor industry, manufacturers, retailers and advertisers alike.
Our brand journey began with in-depth discovery sessions with key stakeholders, to enable us to better understand each of the three brands, objectives for the umbrella brand, market research to craft a unified brand identity.
The name Motion, was our guiding force in propelling creativity forward by creating movement in our visual identity to build a strong tech driven brand to house Carzone.ie, CarsIreland.ie and Cartell.ie.
The ‘M’ of our logo design incorporates fluid curves that create a sense of dynamic movement derived from winding roads. Paired with lowercase lettering, which adds a friendly appearance to the brandmark, signifies commitment to delivering customer centric solutions.
Initial responses have been really encouraging, affirming the brand’s resonance within the motoring industry.
The vision for Motion is one of continued growth, as it sets its sights on shaping the future of Ireland’s motoring industry. We are currently focusing on developing a bespoke website and brand collateral that echoes Motion’s ethos and are excited for the journey ahead.
